Hemp has similar properties to linen. In summer, the fabric is pleasantly cool thanks to good moisture absorption. Hemp dries quickly and bears an anti-bacterial effect. Hemp clothing is particularly suitable for allergy sufferers and offers good UV protection.
Hemp grows in a moderate climate in northern China where enough rain falls. Therefore, no artificial irrigation is necessary.
Hemp is a naturally renewable resource. An extremely rich fibre that provides another benefit: all by-products can be used, so no waste is created.
Hemp absorbs twice as much CO2 per hectare as cotton and has a very low carbon footprint overall, and in addition to the fibres, it also supplies high-quality fatty acids and proteins for the food industry.
